Goulburn Street School Association

The Goulburn Street School Association (SA) is a great chance for parents to be part of the Goulburn Street Primary community, get involved in discussions around school improvement and policies and to help with fundraising and social events. Funds raised through SA ventures provide additional resources for class groups and school projects and add to opportunities for the students. In the last few years we’ve helped the school develop Yellowlands, given books to the library, bought outdoor loupes for science projects and helped teachers to fulfil their classroom wishlists for resources and board games for our kids. We paid the first year registration for Mathletics & Reading Eggs and share these costs each year. We also raise money to help with sending students to interstate competitions.

If you’d like to get involved in the SA committee we’d love to hear from you – and if you don’t have the time to be part of the committee, but would like to stay in touch with what we’re doing, please email us at gou.pf@education.tas.gov.au.
